Effective July 1, 2026, Fermín Soneira will assume the role of Chief Technical Officer at Automobili Lamborghini. For the 49th time, the Audi Works Council has called on the workforce to make its traditional Christmas donation. Once again, the response has been overwhelming: 99.7 percent of Audi employees and Audi BKK employees at the Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm sites took part in the campaign and donated a total of €677,076 to charitable and social institutions in their regions. As it does every year, the company topped up the amount – this year by €172,924 – bringing the Audi Christmas donation for 2025 to an impressive €850,000. Audi is expanding its engine lineup for the Audi Q5 (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 6.8–5.8 (34.6–40.6 US mpg); combined CO₂ emissions in g/km: 177–153 (284.9–246.2 g/mi); CO₂ class: G–E) and Audi A6 (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 6.1–5.3 (38.6–44.4 US mpg); combined CO₂ emissions in g/km: 165–140 (265.5–225.3 g/mi); CO₂ class: F–E) with a three-liter V6 diesel engine delivering 220 kW (299 PS) and 580 Nm of torque. For the first time, the MHEV plus technology, which delivers up to 18 kW (24 PS) of additional power, is being used in combination with an electrically powered compressor. The V6 TDI quattro can now be ordered for both models.

After 127 days of test operations on Frederiksberg Allé in Copenhagen, the results for URBANFILTER are very positive. A customized version of the filter specifically adapted to Danish dimensions was installed in a street drain on a busy road with an average of 7,700 vehicles per day. Compared to drains without URBANFILTER modules, the filter collected more than twice as many solids and microplastics.

The Audi Group’s financial performance in the first nine months of 2025 reflects the challenging economic situation. Revenue during the reporting period amounted to approximately 48.4 billion euros, an increase of 4.6 percent compared to the same period last year. Operating profit totaled around 1.6 billion euros, while net cash flow reached 2.1 billion euros. In total, the Brand Group Progressive* delivered 1,191,141 vehicles in the first nine months. Demand was particularly strong for Audi electric vehicles, with a growth of 41 percent. Audi remains committed to its course: with the introduction of a new design philosophy and corporate strategy, Audi is embarking on the next chapter of its transformation.

The Supervisory Board of AUDI AG is announcing a change in the Board of Management team. Team Speedcar won its first drivers title in the GT4 European Series powered by Rafa Racing Club. Following two GT3 championship victories in New Zealand, this success in Europe’s most prestigious GT4 racing series is already the third title for Audi Sport customer racing this season. The Audi R8 LMS GT3 contributed further good individual results with victories in Belgium and Japan on the last weekend in August, while the Audi RS 3 LMS won an IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race for the first time this year.

Product initiative kicks off in China: Audi is introducing a new generation of electric vehicles and efficient combustion-engine models to the Chinese market, specifically designed to meet the needs of Chinese customers. Leading the way are the Audi Q6L e-tron and Audi Q6L Sportback e-tron – the first localized models based on the PPE – alongside the Audi A5L and Audi A5L Sportback, which are built on the PPC platform. The fully electric Q models and the Audi A5L were officially launched on August 7 during a launch event in Hangzhou. The Audi A5L Sportback has been commercially available since August 1.

Audi Tradition is bringing some serious horsepower to Cologne for this year’s gamescom. Winner of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2002, the Audi R8 with starting number 1 is set to be a showstopper. The 610-horsepower race car will be showcased at the GIANTS Software booth (Hall 6, Stand B061) during the convention from August 20 to 24. Automobili Lamborghini closes the first half of 2025 with solid financial results, reflecting the company's resilience in a complex geopolitical and economic environment. Turnover stands at €1.62 billion, in line with the same period last year, while operating profit reaches €431 million, slightly down primarily due to the unfavourable exchange rate trends in the last quarter. In the first half of the year Automobili Lamborghini also achieved a new milestone with 5,681 cars delivered: the highest-ever result for a first half, marking a 2% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

The future Audi F1 Team and Revolut, the global fintech leader with over 60 million customers, are joining forces in a landmark agreement that will see Revolut become the title partner of the team from the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship season onward.

The first half of 2025 was primarily impacted by US tariffs and restructuring expenses in connection with the company’s transformation. Revenue in the first six months of 2025 was approximately 32.6 billion euros, up 5.3 percent on the figure for the same period last year. Operating profit reached roughly 1.1 billion euros. Net cash flow was 0.9 billion euros. The Audi Group* delivered a total of around 794,000 vehicles in the first half of the year, representing a decline of just under six percent. By contrast, deliveries of fully electric vehicles from the Audi brand recorded a strong increase of 32 percent. This year’s Audi Summer Concerts have concluded with a performance by accordionist Martynas Levickis.
